How to create a digital menu with AI, step by step
From a printed menu to a QR code by chatting with Mise: what you ask, what Mise does and what you check at each step.
You build the menu by chatting, not by filling in forms
The usual way to build a digital menu is to open an empty screen and type in categories, dishes and prices one by one. With Mise the starting point is different: you open the chat inside your TuMenu account, tell Mise about your restaurant and hand over the menu you already have. Mise does the loading and you keep the part that matters, which is checking that everything is right.
Steps 1 and 2: tell Mise about your place and upload your menu
Mise asks 1 or 2 questions, for example whether you want to take orders or just show your menu, and recommends a plan. Your 30-day trial starts when you confirm with one tap, no credit card. Then you upload a photo or PDF of your menu (up to 50 MB in total) and Mise reads it and loads the categories, dishes and prices.
Steps 3 and 4: review what it loaded and adjust by chat
Check the dishes, prices and categories Mise loaded: an automatic read can slip on small print or a blurry price. If something is off, tell Mise in the chat: change a price, mark a dish as unavailable or featured, reorder items or add options. When an action deletes something or changes lots of data at once, Mise asks for your confirmation first.
Steps 5 and 6: translate, download the QR and share it
If you get tourists, you can ask Mise to translate your menu into 5 languages; afterwards you can review and edit the translations in your account. When your menu looks right, download your QR and put it on tables, windows or posters. If you change a price later, the QR stays the same. And if you would rather not use the chat, everything can also be done by hand from your account.
